When I was in music school, the focus was on prepping for recitals, learning obscure music history, analyzing music theory, and practicing my ass off for hours a day.

As cool as the immersion was, I didn’t learn much about working as a musician.

In fact, before I entered the university program, I was gigging five nights a week and recording pretty regularly. When I transferred to a big music school, all that basically STOPPED!

After school, I joined a rock band that made no money. To make ends meet, I worked in sales and retail.

It took years to re-learn how to get back to making a full-time income in the music industry.

The shift happened once I sought help. I started taking lessons again, found mentors, and started a peer group.

I selfishly created this podcast to find answers for boosting my own music career.

I’m not saying I have it all figured out, but I have managed to create and sustain 100% of my income from music. I now have:

  • 2 weekly residencies
  • Over 40 private students
  • Requests to record a couple of albums a year
  • And offers for gigs and clinics regularly

I couldn’t have done it alone. And, together, we can make your music your business.

In these powerful “Get More Gigs” coaching sessions you will leave with:

  • Written positive outcomes for your music career
  • Social media strategies to gain visibility
  • S.M.A.R.T.E.R goals towards the career you love
  • Time management techniques to get the most powerful things done
  • Networking tips that will get you connected to the people that matter
  • A “next-step” action plan for moving your music career into the next phase of abundance, creativity, and notoriety!

I am available for a very limited amount of coaching and consulting engagements. Because of this, I only work with a handful of clients.

I don’t charge “per session”. My coaching contracts start at 8 weeks and many last up to a year or more.

However, I can do this via phone, Skype, or in-person — my location or yours.

If you’re at the point where you’re serious about creating something truly extraordinary in your music career, then send me a message.

I look forward to hearing from you, and I welcome your questions. — Rip
